Amazing dining experience with Foodie friends (25 in the group) last night at Sasse’s in Fort Myers.
A Hidden gem tucked away at the end of a strip mall. It is a Great experience from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you exit. They have a menu that will tempt your taste buds. The food is excellent and presented beautifully. Service is really friendly and professional.
Let’s talk about the food because that’s what you really want to know. I LOVE the Burrata Tomato Salad, it’s basically the best thing on earth. Delicious and creamy. My entree was the Duck in wine / berry compote w/ mashed potatoes & green beans … melt in your mouth delicious. Tender and deliciously gamey. The rest of the group had dishes like pork tenderloin, salmon, filet, chicken. We were all “ooohing” and “aaaahing” throughout the whole meal. Everything was fabulous from appetizers to desserts. Chef Josef came over to our table to thank us for visiting and to ask how well the meal was enjoyed.
The ambiance, food and service all blended for a wonderful and memorable evening.
For quite a foodie experience, this little corner of culinary deliciousness is a must!! Make reservation, I bet you will love the results. A diamond of a restaurant and a fantastic chef!
